Over the course of his career, marketing and communications executive Marc Caposino has created numerous community outreach campaigns for public and private agencies. The former Marketing Director for the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA), he created a multi-faceted campaign that drove public awareness of the agency and achieved measurable success. In San Francisco's private sector, Marc Caposino drove client acquisition and rebranding efforts for creative agency Alias Design Group. He later relocated to Washington, DC, where he coordinated public outreach and media relations for the district's Office of the State Superintendent of Education.
In each of these roles, Marc Caposino has leveraged the power of the media to connect communities. His advertising campaigns have garnered a number of awards including the Addy Award, granted to outstanding cable television commercials, as well as an AdWheel Award given by the American Public Transportation Association. Incorporating multi-lingual advertising, interactive Web media, and print communications, Mr. Caposino strives for and achieves a comprehensive communications strategy. Furthermore, as a result of his focus on public service agencies, he has personally impacted a number of public policy improvements at the local level.
