Marcelle Batson-Warner

Hi to all that know me, and those that are just getting to know me by reading my about me page.

I am a Chartered Engineer (MIET) and KTP Associate, Project Leader currently working on the delivery of a Circular Economy Transformation project with a Midlands based manufacturing company in conjunction with Innovate UK and Warwick Manufacturing Group at University of Warwick.

I have over 30 years’ experience of working in the Automotive industry working in a variety of roles on many new vehicle programs involving extensive use of new product introduction, project management and change management skills and know how.

In recent years she focused on working with Manufacturing SMEs and supporting them to become more circular in how they operate.

I am also studying part-time for her DBA doctorate at Warwick Business School. The topic of my research is how knowledge transfers between academia and industry and how this can be applied in the context of how manufacturing SMEs can transition from linear to circular business models.
