Marcela Nascimento was born in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. She has been living in the United States for ten years, most of these years in New York City.

Passionate about contemporary art and photography, the art world of New York became her backyard. Since moving to the big apple, Marcela experienced working with commercial photography as well as with fine art, colaborating with three prominent at galleries in Chelsea - the neighboorhood synonym of international contemporary art. Marcela has a Bachelor in Advertising and Marketing and a Master's degree in Art Market Principles and Practices from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York.
