Marcela O Rubio

Hi all!

I’m Marcela O Rubio. I was born in Mexico in 1990, but as of 2012 moved to New York City to attend Parsons The New School for Design and become a Marketing and PR consultant in Fashion.

I took a Fashion Publishing class where we had to write for the Parsons blog, and I loved it! In this time and age, having a blog is quite common, and I’m surprised that there are blogs for everything you can think of, for example there’s one that showcases nothing but pictures of lonely Cheetos in multiple locations. Random… But this is what makes blogging so amazing! It creates spaces where people can share their likes and interests regarding every thinkable theme.

This is basically why I decided to start the M scoop; for me design starts with an inspirational idea that then evolves into a composition, and it fascinates me.

With this platform I’ll enjoy sharing my interests including fashion and other types of design, and will savor reading comments and different points of view. I hope you enjoy my blog, and don’t hesitate to send a murmur my way and comment or e-mail me with themes or entries you think might go well with it.
