Marcella Jewell

I am passionate about starting or contributing to ventures with sharp people passionate about solving real crisis around the world. As a student of political and computer science, I use the former to understand the world's problems and the latter to engineer creative solutions. I'm a hand-on person and see things conceptually; I see beauty in the work-life blur, but during my free time, I exercise the mind and the body with reading, conversation, cooking and yoga.

My start up and love of my life is Anthill, Inc. I've built a platform that will change the way millennials make money and gain experience, and help small businesses break through their growth cap. Anthill matches millennials and college students to freelancing gigs right down the road. Even as an entrepreneur myself, I'm technically "unemployed." On the other hand, small businesses, the largest hiring pool in America, have so many projects to complete, and there is a tremendous pool of untapped talent right down the road waiting for those opportunities. Anthill will allow people like me and the 5 million other millennials work freelance gigs wherever, whenever.
