Marcello is Founder & Executive Director of MPP Interativa [ www.mppinterativa.com ], an innovative digital agency providing a complete range of services for major corporations: from strategic planning and product design till information technology.
MPP has currently offices in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo -- and has been serving clients such as Ipiranga, Oi, Peugeot, Abril, Globo, Bradesco, Coca-cola among others.
Before Marcello was working as Director of Globo.com, the Internet company of Globo Organizations -- the largest media conglomerate in Latin America. Marcello has worked to build Globo.com since its start-up until 4 years later, when Globo.com was among the top 3 leaders in the Brazilian Market.
Previously, he was the Creative Director at digital agency IconMedialab (LBi) in New York City, working for clients such as IBM, Motorola, Chubb, Sony, The Metropolitan Museum. During Marcello's tenure, Icon was elected one of the 3 best Internet Agencies in the world by the magazine Advertising Age. Marcello was also the winner of several international awards.
Marcello has an MBA at Coppead (Financial Times list) and holds a Master of Science in Communications Design with honors at Pratt Institute, New York.
Furthermore, he has been a speaker in many national and international conferences as well as several Universities such as New York University, PUC-RJ (Brazil), FGV among others.
Marcello is also the author of the book "Anatomy of the Internet".
