Marcel Nickler is a Partner at management and technology consultancy #BearingPoint, a member of the Global Management Committee and is actually leading BearingPoint’s Central Continental European (CCE) Region. He likes coping with #innovation and #digital transformations, also focusing on respective disruptive dimension and elements. Marcel strongly believes in the power of #values as they are driving people’s behavior substantially. He invests a substantial part of his personal time into the empowerment and development of people and teams.

Before he was appointed Regional Leader GSA (recently renamed to CCE) in 2012, he was leading BearingPoint’s global #Banking and #Insurance practice.

He has over 15 years experience in consulting and as a strategic advisor to multinational institutions and market leaders. He was personally engaged in large transformation programs across all industries. Another focus of Marcel has always been on developing corporate and IT strategies for financial services businesses.

Marcel joined BearingPoint in 2000. Prior to that he was holding several IT Management positions in the insurance industry, being also the CIO of an international #insurance group.

Between 2009 and 2015 he was the Chairman of the Association of Management Consultants Switzerland ASCO. He also is personally engaged in cultural and social matters since many years.

Marcel is a board member of the Swiss Employers' Association and is chairing the jury of BearingPoint's student competition Be.Project.
