Marcelo Antunes, M.D

Originally from Brazil, Dr. Marcelo Antunes completed his residency in Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia. In addition, he completed a Fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY, as well as ear surgery training in Switzerland. Dr. Antunes is well trained in all aspects of Otolaryngology ¬ Head & Neck Surgery and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

In addition to performing cosmetic and reconstructive surgery on the face, he enjoys treating patients with a variety of problems such as nasal obstruction, sinus, allergy and ear conditions. He has extensive training in rhinoplasty, facelift, eyelid, reconstructive, sinus and ear procedures. During his residency, he trained and performed highly complicated procedures with the pioneer in sinus surgery in the United States. He is also well-versed in chronic ear infection and cochlear implant surgeries.

Dr Antunes is board certified in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery and is an active member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery and the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
