Marcel Oldja

Food and beverage industry professional Marcel Oldja recently left Kohler Freda Meats after spending more than eight years with the company. He first worked in the finished product and packing department, serving as a production manager in charge of overseeing more than 100 employees. Marcel Oldja then earned a promotion to quality assurance manager, entrusted with ensuring the safety of all of the company’s finished products. His responsibilities included taking such precautions as testing meat products for allergens and listeria and conducting mock recalls, in addition to performing general managerial duties.

Marcel Oldja began his career at Westide Carpet Cleaning in 2001, shortly after graduating from Rutgers University. He spent three years with the carpet and upholstery cleaning operation, serving as a customer service manager responsible for investigating and resolving any complaints from customers and ensuring their future satisfaction. He also assisted in selling the company’s products and services and made appointments with customers, in addition to overseeing staff scheduling and daily dispatch. Marcel Oldja left Westside Carpet Cleaning in 2004 to begin working at Kohler Freda Meats.
