Marcelo Vasquez

Marcelo has over fifteen years of international experience in business technology, as an entrepreneur and executive.

Currently he is working with chilean entrepreneurs developing media related ventures, helping them with financing and business model design.

Marcelo has held executive positions at Canal 13, one of the leading media conglomerates in Chile, Fundación Chile, the country's premier technology transfer and business incubation center and Siebel Systems in the US.

Marcelo holds an M.B.A. and a Management of Technology Certificate from the Walter A. Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley and a B.S. in Civil Industrial Engineering and Computer Science from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.

Active as a volunteer, Marcelo was elected VP of Technology for Berkeley's MBA Association, mentored high school students at the Young Entrepreneurs at Haas. He is the past president of Chile's Haas Alumni Association, member of the Dean's Advisory Circle at the Haas School of Business of UC Berkeley and the recepient of the 2010 Raymond E. Miles Alumni Service Award of the same school.
