I love to travel and I have had a passion for animals and Africa since I was young. My first experience in Africa was 20 years ago, as a Peace Corps Volunteer. Since, I go back every chance I get. I am seeking a position in African wildlife conservation communication so that I can pursue my passion in a place that I love. I have over 17 years experience in communication, promoting scientific organizations such as the National Geographic Society and the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the publisher of Science. I recently finished a Masters in Communication from Johns Hopkins University, where I applied the class principles to wildlife conservation, with a specific focus on combating elephant poaching and trafficking.
