MARCIA LYONS is the Creator and Executive Producer of Wall Street South LIVE™ and the Principal Owner of the entertainment + media development platform based in Palm Beach.
An American experimental performance artist, writer, director, and producer, Lyons gained recognition in the New York art world, and media arts, then worked in television in LA. This led to receiving numerous awards, including the prestigious Jules Guerin Prix de Rome at The American Academy in Rome. Lyons received the Creative Industries Research Institute (CIRI) Award for Live Media Arts and achieved a Doctorate from the Auckland University of Technology in partnership with the European Graduate School, Saas-Fee, Switzerland. Lyons also founded and produced CMTV Live Media Arts Network in partnership with the BBC/UK iTV Network, sponsored by INTEL, HITLab/NZ, and WETA Digital, generating live feed content streaming from 4 city-site locations: London, Tokyo, Paris, New York. Fusing site and performance — her work is a brew, inhabiting the live worlds and traditions of the public art and witnessing sphere, thickened with a rich cross-pollination of methods: photography, sound, dramaturgy, and live media. Lyons is currently based in Palm Beach, Florida.
