MARCIA LYONS

Writer, Director, and Producer in PALM BEACH

MARCIA LYONS is the visionary Creator and Executive Producer of WALLSTREETSOUTH.LIVE+ Media. Headquartered in Palm Beach, a curatorial hub for the latest fintech migration and dynamic cultural shifts, positioning itself as a premier platform at the crossroads of global finance, art, and culture.

Previously, Lyons founded CMTV Media Arts Network, an early global live-streaming initiative developed with partners including the BBC/UK iTV Network, HITLab New Zealand, and WETA Digital, with sponsorship from Intel. CMTV connected audiences across London, Tokyo, Paris, and New York through real-time cultural broadcasting before streaming became mainstream.

Blending site and performance, Marcia Lyons' work in AI research and telecommunications is a dynamic cross-pollination of media, cinema, and sound, where audiences transform through participatory engagement—polyphonic, immersive, and contagious.

An American experimental performance artist, director, and producer, Lyons first emerged in New York’s media arts scene before expanding into reality television and creative production in Los Angeles. Her multidisciplinary practice spans AI research, telecommunications, public art, live media, and immersive storytelling—blending cinema, sound, and audience participation into networked experiences that dissolve the line between observer and host.

Her work has received numerous honors, including the Rome Prize from The American Academy in Rome. As a Creative Industries Research Institute Scholar in Live Media, she earned a doctorate from Auckland University of Technology in collaboration with the European Graduate School in Switzerland.

Lyons has exhibited internationally, with solo presentations in New York, London, Rome, Milan, and Tokyo. She currently lives in Palm Beach, Florida.
