Marcia Barahona

Founder of OrangeRio and ExecBloom, Marcia Barahona has also found success in corporate America leading the marketing vision for a wide range of companies. She is currently the Director of Marketing & Customer Success for Slooce Technology, a leading mobile technology company based in Silicon Valley.

Marcia's B2C and B2B marketing initiatives have encompassed a wide range of industries, from Medical Devices and Consumer Electronics to Solar Power and Pharmaceuticals. As well, she spent a decade working in bilingual community radio, TV, and print journalism.

Marcia directed the global events for Nortek-owned consumer electronics leader Core Brands. As Director of Marketing for Aesthetic Solutions, Inc., a medical device company, she revamped the company's image and led the launch of six new product lines.

Marcia’s research on business and biotech earned her an invitation to present at the 2014 Annual International Conference on Business, Economics and Information Technology in Taipei, Taiwan. She earned her MBA from the Andrew P. Barowsky School of Business, her BA at Dominican University of California, and also attended business school in France, where she obtained a certificate in Sustainable Business Management and Development from ESCEM, Poitiers.
