Marcia D. Mallory
Designer and Student in Georgia
Hello! My name is Marcia D. Mallory. I am a current full-time Master-level student at Georgia State University majoring in Instructional Design and Technology. I am proud to let you know that I have a 4.10 cumulative grade point average and a 4.05 overall gpa. I also completed my undergraduate degree at GSU majoring in Psychology with a minor in Computer Information Systems. I am very passionate about utilizing all phases of computing, designing projects, instruction, and designing websites. I have a working knowledge of Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop, Expressions 4, basic java, Project, MS Office, and am now learning Adobe Captivate to utilize in my instructional designs. I am interested in Computerized Cognitive Behavior Therapy and how to develop and design programs for children who suffers from intellectual disabilities. I chose the field of Instructional design because it encompasses both the field of psychology and computer information systems in which I have a vast repertoire of knowledge.
I am a non-traditional student. My philosophy is, "It is never too late to change and re-invent yourself. I have found the greatest in me through the power of education."
