My favorite quote is by Heraclitus of Ephesos" "the only constant in life is change." that is my favorite because after I realized that nothing is constant I was better prepared for whatever life had in store for me. I was born and raised in Durham, North Carolina, I was born to my parents on the 26th day of April in 1988. When leaving the hospital with my parents, I did not have a name because my mother could not make a decision at the time, because she could not decide what she wanted to name me I feel like at that point my route in life was going to be a little different. Finally my father decided to name me Marcie which means "warlike".While I was starting to develop into the woman I am today I did not have any further plans after high school, I felt lost. Today, I am a proud mother to my seven year old son and a sister to my three brothers and one sister. My favorite movie is A Beautiful Mind and my favorite color is black. My hobbies consists of shopping, cooking new foods, and spending time with my family and friends. I completed Dental Assisting School in 2013 from Alamance Community College and since then I have been driven to further my education. Presently, I work as a dental assistant at Wake Health Services. I am a student at North Carolina Central University studying biology looking forward to the future.
