Marc Israel brings over 30 years of experience in the IT industry, combining technical expertise with a strong focus on actionable strategies to help organizations grow and adapt. His work centers on guiding businesses through digital transformation, cloud adoption, and emerging technologies like artificial intelligence and blockchain, ensuring both technical and organizational success.
Marc spent 17 years at Microsoft, including his role as CTO for Sub-Saharan Africa, where he supported businesses in adopting cloud technologies to drive meaningful change. In 2018, he founded Aetheis, a boutique consulting firm dedicated to helping organizations embrace the transformative potential of AI and blockchain. In 2020, he co-founder Mo Angels, the first business angels syndicated group in Mauritius. And in 2024, he co-founded Globe4Tech, a technology company aimed at delivering AI-driven automation.
Educational and Professional Background
Marc holds a degree in Robotics and Engineering from École Supérieure d'Ingénieurs en Électrotechnique et Électronique (ESIEE), Paris. He furthered his leadership skills through executive programs at INSEAD and Wharton, earning distinction for his commitment to learning and application.
Marc’s passion for communication and learning is evident in his achievements as a public speaker, with multiple National Champion of Public Speaking awards in Mauritius. He is also a published author, having written 21 books, including the widely regarded "Private, Hybrid, and Public Clouds."
