Marc Korenberg
Senior Vice President and Director of Finance and Operations in Brentwood, TN
Marc A. Korenberg is a seasoned finance executive with over 24 years of experience across multiple sectors, including finance, operations, and business strategy. An unwavering commitment to excellence has marked his career with a keen ability to solve complex business challenges and a strategic approach to leadership. Whether in finance, operations, or business development, he has consistently driven the organizations he’s worked with toward growth and success.
Marc’s professional journey began after earning a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Vermont in 1999. With a strong desire to further his expertise, he obtained an MBA in Finance from Keller Graduate School of Management. His first significant role was at UBS Investment Bank in New York City, where he worked in corporate finance. His early exposure to senior-level management and strategic decision-making at UBS gave him a solid foundation in financial analysis and planning.
However, Marc’s career took a life-changing turn in 2001 following the tragic events of September 11. Deeply moved by the loss of people he knew, he left the finance industry and enlisted in the United States Army. He attended Infantry School, Airborne Paratrooper jump school, and Special Forces training before serving as a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division. His military service from 2001 to 2005 instilled in him a sense of discipline, resilience, and leadership that he would later apply to his career in the business world.
After completing his military service, he returned to civilian life and joined a family-owned motorcycle dealership in Bear, Delaware. Although he initially started in sales, his financial background quickly propelled him into a leadership role in the company’s finance department. Within a short period, he became the General Manager for Sales and Finance, overseeing the business's financial and operational strategies. His efforts helped streamline operations and improve the dealership's economic performance.
