Brought to music by his father and entering the Conservatoire du Centre de Paris, Marc chose to play the saxophone at the age of 11. He completed 8 years of classical studies but felt that a huge part of the emotional range of the instrument was only heard through jazz masters. Marc started to play Jazz during the “Festival des Enfants du Jazz de Barcelonnette” with Pierrick Pedron. This encounter convinced him to become a professional musician so he then entered the EDIM music school in Paris where he studied for 2 years following the FNEIJMA course.

In 2006 he travelled to the U.S. to attend a semester at the Berklee College of Music. Stronger from the experience, he moved to Amsterdam in 2007, enrolled for the bachelor program at CvA, graduated and is now in the master program at Codarts, Rotterdam.

Since in Amsterdam, Marc has arranged, lead and performed with different projects such as The Chocopups, EIK Awards, SAIL, Fuse, Tentempies, Rob Mostert Hammond Group, Lils Mackintosh, Jamento which brought him to arrange and play with Sherry Dyanne and Tim Wes for their performances at North Sea Jazz festivals Rotterdam and Curacao in 2013.
