Marc Munfa
Currently a student at Harvard University working toward his MBA, Marc Munfa is involved in several community service organizations, including the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Transitional Services for New York. As Sponsorship Chair of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's New York Chapter, Mr. Munfa played an instrumental role in raising $80,000 over four years to help orchestrate annual events such as Casino Night and Light the Night Walk. Marc Munfa additionally sits on the Board of Transitional Services for New York, a charity focused on housing and supporting individuals with mental illnesses.
Marc Munfa's most recent professional experience was at ZelnickMedia, a middle-market private equity fund focused on the media and business services sectors, where he served as a Summer Associate in 2011. Prior to matriculating at Harvard to pursue his MBA, Mr. Munfa worked at Morgan Stanley in New York City from 2006 through 2010. From 2006 through 2008, Mr. Munfa served as an analyst with Morgan Stanley Real Estate (MSRE). At MSRE, he assisted the firm's investment banking clients and also assisted in investing private equity in real estate assets for Morgan Stanley's proprietary private equity funds. In 2008, Mr. Munfa received a promotion to the role of Associate in the Investment Management division and joined the firm's generalist private equity team, Morgan Stanley Private Equity (MSPE). As an Associate, Mr. Munfa worked on the firm's acquisition of Learning Care Group, the second-largest child care provider in the United States. Additionally, Marc Munfa was responsible for assisting in the evaluation of investments in the consumer, industrial, media, and shipping sectors.
