Marco Freund

My name is Marco Freund and I am a German Exchange student; I am currently doing my senior year at Genesis Preparatory School in Florida. I am 19 years old and came from Germany in order to earn a second School Diploma for the possibility to go to collage here in the States.

From fourth grade until the tenth grade I went to the Frankfurt International School, where they teach under the International Baccalaureate program. Due to Family reasons, I changed to a German private school for the final two years and earned my German High School Diploma at the private school "Private Tages und Internats Schule Dieburg". My honor credits for the last four semesters where in geography, and english. Here at Genesis Prep I am currently in the english and biology honors program.

A huge passion for me is the sport combined driving. As shown in the picture it is an equestrian sport, which I have been active in since the age of three. My dad is the current United States Coach for the drivers, therefore also the general close link to America. I myself have been able to achieve three german championship wins, a vice world championship title and I am the youngest athlete to achieve the highest honor medal in Germany.
