Benvenuti!

LAKESIDE: A "freshwater" by birth, I'm a consultant living in Como, Italy, the city by the lake where I was born and grew up. Fond of fencing, skiing, music and books. In love with my wife, a "saltwater" lady from Trieste, Italy.

CAPITAL: After graduating cum laude from the Università Cattolica in Milan with a BSc in Economics and management of financial markets and institutions, and "serving the country" in the Italian Air Force, I moved to Coventry (UK), to take an MSc in Economics and Finance at the University of Warwick. Funnily enough, I ended up living in Lakeside. I got back with a distinction, and the love for the English countrysides and international life. A great investment: I earned a good share of capital there.

I then obtained a PhD in Economics at the Università Cattolica and started teaching Econometrics and Corporate Finance, while also becoming a certified accountant and auditor and becoming a partner at the Studio Botta Consulenza Aziendale, a consulting firm based in Como.

IDEAS: Basically, I get paid to think: and I never stop thinking.
