M. A. de Rodrigues Dias

My name is Marco A. de Rodrigues Dias, Portuguese. Nowadays, I am the CEO Junior Advisor of the Premium & ARCO Hotels Group - One of the best Hotel Corporations in Portugal with 5 Hotels, with responsibilities in the Finance Management and Sales Coordination. I was one of the Fundraising leaders of an NGO called BETA - Bringing Europeans Together Association, based in Mainz – Germany, which owns the organization of the Model European Union (Simulation of European Parliament).

When I was in my 1st year of the Bachelor in Economics, I was awarded with a scholarship to be a Research Assistant in the National Foundation for Science and Technology in collaboration with the Brazilian Institute of Environmental impact and Legal affairs and Lusíada University of Portugal, where only 10 were selected from all Portuguese Universities. During that year I learned how to research, submitting the final thesis/project in “Economic and Environmental impacts of the Portuguese coast".

I stress that, fortunately, I was awarded a Scholarship to study International Economics in the summer in the United States of America, specifically in the Mises Institute of Economics, part of Faculty of Economics & Management of the Auburn University. Furthermore, I had the privilege of being the Delegate of the IMF at the University of Cambridge, in the XVI (2011) Cambridge International Model United Nations, where I was awarded with one of the best interventions in public and paper work.

Last but not least, after starting my work as Junior Advisor, I was invited to be a 50% scholar student of the Executive Master for 1 year in Hotel International Executive Management in the Catholic Porto Business School, ranked in the 21st of the Financial Times position of the best 30th European Universities.

I stress that any goal that is outlined for me, I always try to give my best in order to be accomplished in a full, fast, but also through the highest perfection.
