Marco Monaco

MARCO has spent the last decade providing strategic public affairs advice in the public, private and non-profit sectors and has provided results driven leadership on research projects at three levels of government.

During his career in government, Marco served in key roles in both the political and civil service spheres. His most senior political role was as a special assistant to Ontario's Minister of Economic Development. After politics Marco joined the Ontario Public Service where he served as a strategic issues advisor in two ministries and one secretariat providing issue management advice to senior ministry officials and department managers on emerging and contentious issues.

Following government, Marco took his unique experience as a former public servant and political advisor to the private sector – first, as a lobbyist for Ontario's hospitality industry and then, as Director of Government Relations & Public Affairs for a leading North American translation & interpretation company.

Marco holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Science and Labour Studies from York University and completed a Communications for Professionals certificate from the University of Toronto's School of Continuing Studies.
