Marcos Herrera

Born in Taos, New Mexico I was raised by a great family of artists and amazing people. Always surrounded by art growing up and developed a deep passion for any way to express my creativity. I began to draw and sketch at an early age mostly attracted to the graffiti style of art. Eventually learning to play several instruments joining band classes all through school. Guitar was the first instrument i've learned and it was obvious I was naturally gifted. Many of my family members carved religous sculptures and gave me quite a few lessons. Always finding ways to be creative and inspire others I began to focus on my talents. I won an award for mariachi performance and was recognized for being loyal to it for four years. I took second place in a talent contest in high school for music solo act. After moving to Albuquerque I began to study the art of poetry and the culture of hip-hop. Eventually I began to write music. I have been a headline act for two hip-hop shows at the launchpad. I have many talents and I am motivated to become a success!
