Marcos Stuardo is a Chilean/British composer. He obtained his 'Licenciatura en Composición' (Bachelor in Composition) with the Highest Distinction at Universidad de Chile under the tutelage of Professor Andrés Maupoint. At King's College London he has been studying with Professor Silvina Milstein and was awarded a Master in Music degree (Distinction) and PhD in Music.

Marcos' music has been performed in Chile, Argentina, United Kingdom, Italy, Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, France and Luxembourg by groups such as Taller de Música Contemporánea UC, Ensemble United Instruments of Lucilin, Qiri Duo (Karina Fischer, flute; Kathya Galleguillos, clarinet), oboists José Luis Urquieta and Leonardo Cuevas, the National Symphony Orchestra of Chile and pianists Danor Quinteros, Rob Keeley, Ian Pace and Fernanda Ortega, among others.

Marcos speaks Spanish, English and some Czech.
