Marc Perelló

I graduated in Journalism and Advertising, and ever since I've been pretty active in the Communications field. I have been an Account Junior, Manager and Director at different companies, where I've also been in charge of 360º campaigns. In the academic field, I'm a professor at the Abat Oliba CEU University, the International University of Catalonia, and the Observatory of Solidarity Economics, all in Barcelona. I've also been a visiting researcher at City University London and at the University of Copenhagen. I'm a member of the research groups Media Ecology Association (MEA), Compolwatch (ACCIEP), Broadband Journalism (UPF), and the Communication and Media Research Center (CCMRC). My areas of expertise are the New Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), Cloud Journalism, Social Media and Social Movements, Protest and Activism, Narrative, Political Communication and Deliberative Democracy.
