Marc Peters
Marc is a graduate of Syracuse University with a degree in public policy and journalism. He is serving as communications director for Naturally Blue, a political action committee that he helped found to bring progressivism back to the South. Marc is currently finishing a graduate program at the Clinton School for Public Service. While at the Clinton School, he has worked part-time at Heifer International on a gamification team and consulted for Philander Smith College's Black Male Initiative. Marc also launched MasculinityU with Sacchi Patel, a national organization that seeks a broader definition of masculinity and to empower men to end gender violence. He has worked previously as a field organizer for the Pennsylvania Democratic Party; as a chapter coordinator for Active Minds, a national mental health advocacy nonprofit; and as national student blog director for Barack Obama's 2008 presidential campaign. In March of 2012, Marc was initiated into the Pi Lambda chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated.
