Dr Marc Blatstein

Dr Marc Blatstein has multiple pending Patents. He has more than 22 years experience as a single practitioner, Dr Marc Blatstein uses The Circulator Boot™ as a Method of Treatment that supports the core elements of wound therapy: increased blood supply, bacterial control, moisture and debridement.

Dr Marc Blatstein was a contributing author to Nails Magazine in the early 1990's.

Another focus of Dr Marc Blatstein's practice was directed toward treating diabetic patients. People suffering from diabetes have a liability to foot issues because of a loss of nerves in their feet. This can lead to wounds becoming inffected and a worse case scenario of amputation. Dr Marc Blatstein has seen just how bad this illness can affect feet, so he took it upon himself to try and combat it as best as possible. He believes health care providers should treat as well as educate diabetics so they don't have issues with their feet down the line. The number of amputations that occur each year around the world is astronomical. What upsets Dr Marc Blatstein is the fact that amputations don't have to happen if treatement is done early. They can be avoided altogether. It is a matter of patient education and daily checking.
