My work explores the relationship between gender politics and midlife subcultures.

With influences as diverse as Blake and Francis Bacon, new combinations are generated from both mundane and transcendant textures.

Ever since I was a child I have been fascinated by the essential unreality of relationships. What starts out as triumph soon becomes debased into a hegemony of temptation, leaving only a sense of dread and the possibility of a new understanding.

As shifting replicas become frozen through frantic and diverse practice, the viewer is left with a summary of the darkness of our era.
