Marc Sleight
My name is Marc, I am a follower of Christ, a father, husband and friend. I believe its my responsibility to do what it takes to help as many people as I can, however I can. I have 2 daughters (10 and 3) and a 1 year old son. I hope to leave a legacy of love, selflessness and humility. I support some amazing people helping people. The Adventure Project. They find simple ways to help people change their own existance. I wouldn't consider it a charity. They don't dump money into a broken system, they go directly to the source. They enable people. To help themselves, and each other. I would highly recommend checking them out. Right now we are supporting rural farmers in Kenya. The picture to the right are some of those farmers, below is their story.
Penninah with her children Faith and Dan use a Kickstart irrigation pump to water their small farm in rural Kenya. Although Penninah was recently widowed, she is able to produce enough food to feed her family and earn an income at the market. Penninah can now send all of her children to school. When asked what the Kickstart pump means to her, Penninah said simply, "It is a miracle."
