Born in Brooklyn NY, grew up in Commack NY and Silver Spring MD. Started programming when I was 15. Worked as a software engineer after dropping out of IIT in Chicago at 19. Co-founded Realia, Inc in 1978 and sold it to Pansophic in 1991 then worked at Computer Associates til 2000 when I then became a VC and joined JK&B Capital in Chicago. My wife Deirdre and I spend our time playing tennis and traveling. We generally spend the summers on The North Fork of Long Island in Mattituck and the rest of the time on the Gulf coast of Florida in Ozona (near Tampa).
