Marcus Banks

I love to write. It's been a desire of mine for some years now. But it took me a while to get serious about it. Like, really take the thing by the horns and wrangle it to the ground. So, after getting my BA in Mass Communications at Paine College, I went on ahead and studied for my MFA in Creative Writing at Full Sail University. Through the education and the love of writing, a full-time screenwriter is what I want to passionately pursue.

As a screenwriter, I want to allow people to forget their problems for two hours while enjoying a good story. I think we as people have so much that we deal with that we need to release some tension some way or another. Movies are a good release. I want to be the writer that people know, when they see one of my films, they are in for an enjoyable time!

Born in Buffalo, New York but raised in Atlanta, Georgia and been here since 1987, southern roots run through my veins. I have a 33-year-old sister and my Mother and Father retired from the workforce.
