Marcus Lane

I have spent my entire professional life in the retail foodservice sector. After graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce, I have spent over 30 years in the hospitality business, all of it in both corporate and franchise scenarios.
Hospitality and foodservice have been the predominant focus of my career, starting with Mother’s Restaurants as both a corporate General Manager and Franchise Partner, as well as experience with Little Caesar’s, Druxy's, Pizza Hut, Teriyaki Experience & Vanellis where I spent 20 years helping to grow the Brands domestically, internationally and in non-traditional markets.
Along the way I have picked up valuable experience working in franchising with the Timothy’s Coffee, Michele’s Baguette and Topper's Pizza brands as well as being National Brand Development Director for Sodexo Canada. In addition to many operational roles, I have comprehensive experience with training, franchise recruitment, business development, construction and supply management.
I am a sports enthusiast as well as fostering an appreciation for the outdoors, recreation and worthy social causes.
