Marcus Mesquita

Brazilian photographer and videographer based in Cusco, Peru. His works are generally associated with documentary photography, photojournalism and travel.

Born in the small town of Alto Araguaia, Mato Grosso, border with the state of Goiás. However lived most of his life in the capital Cuiabá.

Always developed interest in art, music and design. He fell in love first by drawing, painting and adolescence developed skill in computer graphics and image manipulation. where he had his first opportunity and approach with the picture.

He also worked in other areas such as consulting in telecommunications and commercial manage in the area of insurance one of the leading banks in Latin America. In this last job could save a little money and buy your first DSLR camera. Could also participate in some group exhibitions of photographs and winning some prizes.

Driven by the passion to photography, after about five years of service at the Bank, decided to leave his career banking and insurance to devote exclusively to what satisfies you more and make you happy: shots of people and places.
