Marcus Segal

Marcus Segal is a strategist and operations executive with over 15 years of experience in the technology sector.

Segal is currently exploring the world while advising and speaking at tech conferences around the world. He is also an investor and advisor to numerous technology startups.

Segal spent the last six and a half years at Zynga – serving as the Chief Operating Officer of Game Studio Operations, COO of Business Operations and later the COO of the Casino Division. Segal was responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the game studios and the development of the International Production, Community, QA, and Central Art teams.

Prior to joining Zynga, Marcus served as the VP of Operations and CFO for Vindicia Inc., a technology company focused on providing advanced billing and risk solutions for digital merchants. Before Vindicia, Marcus was VP of Operations at eMusic.com [Nasdaq EMUS] where he led the organization through their acquisition by Universal Music Group in 2003.

Before starting his career in technology, Marcus worked in TV and film as the Executive in Charge of Production for The Documedia Group producing the Emmy Award nominated series "Sworn to Secrecy" for The History Channel and as a pyro-technician on one of the world's true film classics, "Beastmaster 3."
