Marcus Southworth
Chief Executive Officer/co-Founder in QuantX2 Technologies
Marcus Southworth is the Chief Executive Officer and founder of QuantX2 Technologies, TXi Global, Southworth International, and SunWorth Global Development Corporation.
He has developed an extensive domestic and international network of relationships with government officials, financial institutions, institutional and private investors, and diverse industry professionals.
Mr. Southworth has first-hand experience with commercial, political, and governmental issues, projects, and people in the United States, Europe, Central Europe, the Middle East, Africa, South East Asia, China, and South America. He is multi-lingual, a highly effective and creative innovator, financial strategist, financial advisor, negotiator, and persuasive communicator.
Among other things, Mr. Southworth served as an advisor to the Ministry of Defense in Czechoslovakia/ Czech Republic from 1989-1995. His assignments included the conversion of the largest miliatry airbase in Central Europe to a passenger airport. During that time, he served as advisor to Leciva, a.s., which was the largest pharmeceutical manufacturer in Czechoslovakia and Rempo a.s., the largest wholesaler. He was co-founder and CEO of the Bellwether Companies a venture capital/investment company from 1988-2001. He served as Advisor to President John A. Kufour of Ghana from 2002-2003. From 2004-2006, he represented two foreign clients, Qingdao Steel and Universal Steel in the acquisition of assets from Geneva Steel in Provo, Utah which at the time was the largest steel manufacturer in the USA west of the Mississippi River. This work included the dismantling and relocation of the Rolling Mill to Qingdao, China and the sale and dismantling of all of its remaining above-ground assets. From 2012 to 2015 Mr. Southworth served as an active participant and contributor to China APEC and in the planning, design, and management of a large real estate development project located near the city of Langfang, Hebei Province, China.
Mr. Southworth is the founder of a self-funded 501c3 organization called the International Conciliation Council. Its primary objective is to reduce human suffering by encouraging diplomacy between Syria and the United States as an alternative to war and sanctions.
During his 40 + year career in international finance and executive management, Mr. Southworth has participated in new venture finance, structured or asset-based transactions, project finance, international trade, and world-class technology innovation.
