Marcus Wilson

On June 17, 1993 I was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to Cedrick and Dana Perryman. I am the oldest of two children, my younger sister Cydni is 12 years old. I moved to Atlanta in the summer of 2001. I graduated from Dunwoody High School in May 2011. I played basketball all thoughout high school and was captain at all three levels; freshman, junior varsity, and varsity. My personality can range from quiet and reserved to goofy and energetic. I believe it all depends on the situation. I have always maintained an active role in my school and community through several volunteer and leadership organizations. I currently serve as a personal advisor for Freshman Forum, a Black Educational Support Team mentor, Student Alumni Council member, Shop With A Bulldawg mentor, and most recently an 2013 ORIENTATION LEADER!! I am extremely passionate about sports and even more passionate in my expression of love for my favorite teams. The New Orleans Saints is my favorite football team and aside from UGA Football, I am a huge fan of LSU football. I am currently a Middle School Education major looking to pursue a career within the student affairs/higher education field. My calling in life is to provide service to others and I want to be able to utilize my knowledge, resources, and experiences for the benefit of others. I am so excited to serve as an Orientation Leader this summer, UGA is one of the greatest things to happen to me and I would love to share my story with incoming students!

Go Dawgs!
