Marcus Young has 4 generations of history in SE Asia with his family doing everything from government work and missions to starting a zoo in Chiang Mai, Thailand. This history and life experience cements his abilities bridge between Western and SE Asian cultures. In 2009 he established Just Projects International (JPI) to focus on macro solutions for human trafficking, especially child soldiers around the world.

Marcus has spent his life pursuing creative ways to reach restricted access regions where other NGO's seldom go. Operating in areas marred by violence, human trafficking, and intense discrimination, he uses the ethics of Jesus’ teaching for creative and non violent challenges to injustice.

During this time he has facilitated literacy work for ethnic groups in Burma, developed economic initiatives in Mindanao, Philippine, launched programs to demobilize child soldiers and gathered a community of national and international leaders focused on helping children in armed conflict in places like the Mexican cartels. His advocacy organization, Project: AK-47 is a reflection of his dedication to leverage the power of culture to mold broader issues.

The JPI collective is an innovative, solutions based group that can help your team bring holistic and pragmatic strategies your target region regardless of whether your venue is business, government or the non profit sector.
