Marcus Decimus Severus

Marcus Decimus Severus is a dedicated individual, who has served multiple governments, and royal families throughout NationStates since 2007. He began his rise to power with the founding of "The Imperial City," a region whose height of power reached above 75 nations, as well as conquered and controlled over 10 colonies.

Connecting with other raiders Severus became a General within the famed Brotherhood of Blood, as well as becoming good friends and allies with Gerzam, founder of present day Unknown. Over the next 2 years Severus and Gerzam raided multiple regions, designed the religion of Cruor, and successfully endured the ending of the age of Raiding.

Moving into the new era of NS Royalty, Severus entered the world with ease. Settling into the regions of Royal Region of Bane, as well as the Brittaannic Kingdom. Building a network of family connections, Severus became Count of Bane, heir to the Kingdom, as well as brother to the King himself. However when the King passed away, Severus became a dominant political player, as developed his skills with infulence and creating alliances. He soon became the champion for Queen Alexandria's claim to the throne, begaining a civil war between the Queen and her son the Prince.

The civil war ended as soon as it began, with the Prince leaving in exile and taking his men to found a new region. Severus found himself no longer of use to the Queen, who tossed him aside, a war hero was no longer necassary. So he left and joined his nephew in the once great empire of Ravenstadt. Serving his nephew as his General, and Chancellor, Severus found peace, however this was only to last so long. Inactivity racked the empire, and ended it's glory.

Severus moved on to a small region, interested by a plea from an old friend. The region was named Anzia, and he became one of Anzia's cheif founding members. Built it's military from the ground up, used his extensive connections to create alliances and recruited. Anzia became huge, rising above 250 nations within 3 months. It was at this time that a new General arose in Anzia, General Zech, now ruler of the remnants, forced Severus out, and actively engaged in an political war.
