Marcy Silva is a Fall 2013 graduate of the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Strategic Communications and Portuguese.

During her time at UNM, she was a student employee and Sports Information Director within the Lobo Athletics communications office. She served as the main contact for the swimming and diving program and gained experience in sports PR.

Silva worked a number Mountain West Conference Championships, as well the 2011 Women's NCAA Opening Rounds and the 2012 Men's Second and Third Round NCAA Games hosted by The Pit.

In addition to her employment with the UNM Athletic Department, she interned with the Gildan New Mexico Bowl in 2013. She assisted with day-to-day operations and hospitality/media requests.

Born in El Paso, Texas, the trilingual student has previous internship experience with the National Nuclear Security Administration in Washington, D.C.
