Marc Zowine

Marc Zowine began working as a hair stylist nearly 20 years ago under the tutelage of John D’Orazio at a small, exclusive salon on Madison Avenue. Throughout his career, he has had the pleasure of interacting with many notable women, including Jacqueline Onassis, Diane von Furstenberg, and Gloria Steinem.

Marc Zowine considers himself an artist and a sculptor and has developed his own unique style in hair design, which he refers to as “Personal Hair Design” or PHD. He strives for stylish, smart, and simple cuts with modern and vibrant colors. He studied art for many years and benefits from a great sense of depth and color contrast, which helps him find the right color for any hair.

Marc Zowine earned his degree in cosmetology from Wilfred Beauty Academy. He also had a degree in economics from Hunter College in New York. In his free time, he enjoys biking, swimming, exercising, reading, cooking, movies, and theatre.
