Maren McGuire

The Slow Stitch Co. was founded in 1968 by my mother. She created one of a kind clothing pieces for many 70s bands and sold to boutiques in LA. During her travels, she met my father, a roadie for Jefferson Starship. After I was born, my folks bought a 20 acre farm where I could around to my hearts content. My upbringing instilled in me a strong love for life and to create. In 2015 I am bringing The Slow Stitch back. I hope to share the positive energy I have from my roots- with the world- through my art.
