Teaching called me and I answered the call to equip, empower and serve those I teach. I have taught children and adults in the USA, Uganda and Liberia. I have learned so much about people, their cultures and the ways they pursue learning. In Africa, I saw a hunger for learning from the students and a severe lack of academic resources. In the USA, a wealth of resources where available but I saw a hunger for family. Currently, I am writing academic curriuclum for schools in Liberia which will equip students to develop academic skills while expanding their knowledge base. This curriculum will also involve family in the learning process and multiple opportunities to serve the local community.
