多次與香港小交響樂團演出大型音樂會，並獲該樂團邀請舉辦個人音樂會《My Technicolor Childhood》

經常與本地阿卡貝拉劇團一舖清唱合演無伴奏劇場作品。歌唱方面師承啤老師（馮夏賢），繼而跟隨Naomi Eyers及Francesco Mecorio研習Estill Voice Training，現已成為Estill Master Trainer – Candidate。

音樂劇歌唱指導作品包括：香港藝術節《日新》、香港音樂劇藝術學院《下一站⋯正常》、 三角關係《二人餐》、香港城市大學《Sister Act》、同流《移家女孩》及 音樂劇作《蒲公英女孩》及《少年神農的搖滾獨白》。

除此之外亦活躍於香港流行音樂範疇：曾為倫永亮 、葉德嫻 、林憶蓮 、羅敏莊 、衛蘭、容祖兒、劉德華及陳慧嫻等擔任演唱會和音歌手。

張氏為《我們的原創音樂劇》（香港原創音樂劇譜集）統籌，亦在2024年推出個人翻唱專輯《Directions》。

Margaret Cheung is a leading actress in Hong Kong's local musical theatre scene. She first graduated with a Bachelor of Creative Industries (Media Studies) from Queensland University of Technology, then with a Diploma in Performing Arts from the School of Drama at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. After graduation, she has carved out a niche for herself in musical theatre, and has worked with almost every Hong Kong theatre company that produce home grown and translated versions of classic musicals. Theatre credits include leading and supporting roles in A Good Woman of Szechwan, Our Town, A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Sound of Music, Title of Show, Tick Tick Boom, My Fair Lady, A Chorus Line, Company, Godspell, Company, Nunsensations, and Nunsense, for which she received a nomination for best supporting actress at the 20th Hong Kong Drama Awards.

A keen musician, Margaret is a passionate vocalist and voice teacher. She is currently mentored by Beilosi Fung in vocal performance. She is also a student of the Estill Voice Training (mentored by Naomi Eyers and Francesco Mecorio) and is currently a Estill Master Trainer- Candidate. She is a regular guest singer with the Hong Kong Sinfonietta. In 2017, she was invited by Hong Kong Sinfonietta to present her first solo concert "My Technicolor Childhood". She is a regular performer for local acappella ensembles Yat Po Singers and VSing, and has branched out into performing backing vocals for Cantopop artists, working with top artists such as Anthony Lun, Deanie Yip, Sandy Lam, Andy Lau, Mimi Lo, Janice Vidal, Miriam Yeung, Priscilla Chan and Joey Yung.

Margaret is the executive producer of “Our Original Musicals”, an anthology of Hong Kong musical theatre songs. She released a cover album called “Directions” in 2024.
