I'm Margaret, a first-year student at the University of Georgia. I'm also the one on the right. I attended the only high school in my county, which had a graduating class of about 200. Though I love my hometown and all its charms, I've known for years that I would like it better in a larger city. I blame this on my love of traveling and going to new places.

Naturally, I was extremely excited (but a little nervous too, though I wouldn't have admitted it at the time) to go off to college in Athens last Fall. I managed the transition fairly well last semester, and now that I'm used to being in college, I'm ready to start finding out what I want to do with the rest of my life. If you ask any specifics about my future plans, I wouldn't be able to tell you much. I don't know exactly what I'm doing here either. But so far, I just want to do the best I can.
