Margaret Miller

Born in Atlanta, GA, Margaret Miller is a graduating senior at Oberlin College studying Creative Writing, Archaeological Studies, and Anthropology.
Having done archaeological fieldwork on the Sangro Valley Project in Tornareccio, Italy and independent research in Human Osteology at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, Margaret is currently working on honing her skills as a science and nonfiction writer during her final year at Oberlin. Current projects include A Story of Old Bones, a review of the contents of the Hamann-Todd Osteological Collection at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History and an online resource for other students who are interested in osteology, and a fiction/non-fiction capstone project on epidemiology and the anti-vaccination crisis.
In the world beyond academic writing, Margaret is a captain of the OC Track and Field Team, earning NCAC All-Conference Honors, NCAC Championship Honors, and NCAA Div. III All-Academic Honors in 2013. She is also a co-director of an all-women a Capella ensemble Nothing But Treble, and a founding member of the Oberlin Archaeological Society.
