Margaret, the founder & managing director of Joy Givers International is a native of Liberia and also a graduate of the University of Liberia.
In 2012, Margaret felt a burden and call by the Lord into the mission field in Liberia. Today, she is fulfilling that call by serving those underprivileged children in Liberia she had a burden for and has come to love as her very own. She is presently working with eighty- two children.
Prior to the call, Margaret dedicated her life to raising her two children, Mwenda and Joy, while helping to improve the lives and academic performance of children in the Alexandria City Public School, Bethel World Outreach, VA, & 1st Assembly of God - Alexandria, VA where she taught Sunday School classes. She also tutored children in her home in Alexandria, VA.
Margaret is well known for her love and devotion to children. She has a heart for children and continues to bring encouragement and enrichment to the lives of these children in Liberia. She believes that," One can give without loving, but one cannot love without giving." Margaret hopes that through serving & giving to these children, they will see the Lord in His work done through her. And they will come to know him better and love him more.
