Margarita Tsoukarelas

Growing up in Larissa city in Greece, singing was always her passion - as well as theater and dancing. Although she studied classical singing in both Poland and Germany, she is renowned as a singer of many different styles and genres. Margarita reached the finals of many important vocal competitions in Greece when she was a child. She was a member of a musical theater group for kids in Greece since she was 7. After six years of vocal (Opera) studies at the Music Academy in Wroclaw- Poland and then in the world renowned Hochschule fur Musik and Theater in Leipzig-Germany she possesses now a technique that allows her to move easily from opera to jazz to musical theatre and modern popular music. From 2011 she decided to stay in Germany Leipzig which gives her the opportunity to work and learn on a professional stage, developing her acting and voice further. She performed several roles in opera productions such as Atalanta in G.F.Haendel's Xerxes (Serse), Elisa in D. Scarlatti's Tolomeo et Alessandro, Papagena in W.A.Mozart's Die Zauberflote, Gretel in Hänsel and Gretel, Prinzessin in Der Gestiefelte Kater and several musical theater shows such as in Romeo&Juliet(2002) in Greece, musical Grace (2012) with the Theater Gallissas in Berlin, Die Bremer Stadtmusikanten (Tournee), Panik in der Botanik with the Theater der Jungen Welt in Leipzig etc.

Currently she is collaborating with several renowned Theaters in Germany as Theater der Jungen Welt Leipzig, Theater Gallissas und
Mediaagentur, Kammeroper Dresden etc. She was the special guest of the 9th Leipziger Operettenball and of the XVI International Greek Song Festival in Zgorzelec/Görlitz in 2013, The Musical Gala ''Best Of Broadway'' Musicalrevue with Horst Singer and his Orchestra/Band in Bad Elster, Theaterfest ''Zirkus Show'' in Tdjw Leipzig and from 20.06.2014 ''Wenn man ein Bild anschaut, ist jede Farbe wichtig« at Ariowitsch Haus in Leipzig.
