Meg Veilleux

Sr. Manager, IT Security in New Orleans, Louisiana

Over one decade ago, Margaux Élisabeth Veilleux (Meg Veilleux, for the jazzy folks) started re-wiring motherboards and learning white hat hacking as a hobby, and she moved into a professional security role a few years later. Now, she's a self-structured Project Management Professional (PMP) that brings formal and informal security and business organization experience to clients and internal teams.

Meg's passion for technology -- and knowing how easy it is to break it -- persuaded her to pursue an MBA in IT Management, with the intent to add a business focus to her experiences with infrastructure, testing, and forensic investigation.

When Meg isn't working or studying, she's cramming her brain full of other bits of information. She is a serious student of French language, attending multiple classes per week, with a goal to gain fluency by the end of 2020. Her interest of history led her to become the genealogical expert in her family, having veritably traced one direct branch back to 12th-Century France and Spain.

When she wants to let her mind breathe, Meg enjoys cooking, baking, embroidery, gaming, and enjoying wonderful Louisiana culture.
