At 80 my life has been very long and great all the way as God has blessed us. I was happily married to a really good husband for 53 years and I have 4 successful children and 7 grandchildren.

Everything I have worked at has been good, including banking, direct marketing Tupperware and an estate agent (realtor). Along the way was an opportunity of selling pearls with "Pearls in the Oyster" and my passion for pearls grew from there.

I knew that I wanted to write a hand-book and Dictionary on pearls so for the next 30 years I studied and wrote down all the information I could find on pearls and in 2004, after having visited a pearl farm, I published the 1st edition of my non-fiction book - "PEARLS OF CREATION A-Z OF PEARLS".

During the next 10 years I visited 2 more world-renown pearl farms and invited other pearl farmers to send me their own stories and pictures to include in the 2nd Edition of my book that was published in 2012.

I am thrilled that "PEARLS OF CREATION A-Z OF PEARLS - 2nd Edition" has received a Bronze award from Jenkins Group in the Green Living category. It is available in E-book & Print on Amazon.com and
